I wanted to brainstorm an idea with you: How to reuse a single art into multiple posts.
This is especially important for me, as I prefer to make fewer illustration that I can repost at any time - instead of always grinding and chasing trends. And good art takes a long time to make, so might as well make the most out of it!

How to post your art multiple times
- The full image (duh)
- Details, zoom on specific portions
Comparison
- Sketch vs Final
- Ink vs Final
- Color vs Shading
- Art vs Artist
Video
- Timelapse: Simple, straight out of the software export
- Timelapse (Edited): music, zooms and pans, voice over even
- Move the camera around the physical piece (traditional or printed)
Show your art in real life
This is obvious for traditional, but digital can also be printed. Use the background and accessories to enhance the image.
- It could also be your art on apparel! Getting them printed on demand is very easy and affordable, and could help to judge if others would be interested.
Process
- Explain your technique, like a composition breakdown or color trick you used
- Share the inspiration/Reference you used for this piece
Tell a story
- How did this piece came to be (why did you make this specifically? How was it?)
- Tell me what's happening! Most people don't know your OCs, and that's because you don't introduce them enough!
You can also group multiple illustration on the same post (carousel, grid, pile on your desk) by theme or period: "My blue art", "My best pieces of October" ...
I haven't done all of them of course, but I wanted to show you that you're not forced to create new art all the time and repost are actually very okay; in fact, new subscribers will be grateful to discover more of what you're doing!
I hope this will help you, whatever your goals are!
Take care,
- NIGHTEN
